The Member-In-Training process is a way for prospective members to be informed of what it means to be apart of Sigma Alpha Iota before they are fully initiated into our chapter of Alpha Lambda.
As a Member in Training (MIT) you will...

Have a big sister assigned to you that you will meet with on a regular basis. She will help you learn about the history of Sigma Alpha Iota and other important information so you are fully prepared to take the National Membership Exam

Attend weekly meetings with our Vice President of Membership where you will take (low-pressure) assignments/quizzes in preparation for the National Membership Exam

Attend chapter events so you get to know the ladies of Alpha Lambda and we get to know you

Complete a service project and perform in a musicale with your fellow Members-In-Training class

At the end of training you will take the National Membership Exam
